Returning to Set Her Free — A Fundraiser Exhibition with Heart

I’m honoured to once again take part in Set Her Free, an annual fundraising exhibition hosted by Creative Soul Prints and Up In Frames in Henley Beach, supporting the life-changing work of Destiny Rescue.

This inspiring event brings together 30 local artists, each creating a unique artwork on the theme of “Strength.” Every painting is the same price — making this exhibition a collector’s delight — and most importantly, 100% of all sales are donated to Destiny Rescue, helping to free and protect children trapped in sexual exploitation and trafficking around the world, including here in Australia.

My Contribution

The painting I have contributed to the exhibition was very challenging to paint. It is an acrylic painting of a heart shaped piece of sea glass on a bed of sand. I am not sure I completely achieved what I envisioned but I still really like how the painting turned out. I call it ‘Strength Shaped by Storms’.

A Special Addition This Year

Set Her Free 2026 Calendar! featuring artwork from the 2024 exhibition

I’m thrilled to share that artwork from last year’s Set Her Free exhibition — including mine — has been featured in the inaugural Set Her Free 2026 Calendar! Calendars will be available from opening night for $45, with $15 from each sale donated directly to Destiny Rescue.

My painting from last year that I am thrilled features in December in the calendar.
